From the Jackson Police Department –
July 1st, 2021, Officers attempted to serve an arrest warrant on Julio Mateo Dominguez at 178 Durley Drive in the Rolling Acres Trailer Park. Dominguez had a warrant for Theft of Property over $10,000.
Dominguez barricaded himself in the trailer and refused to surrender to police.
After a standoff, Dominguez surrendered and was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Criminal Justice Center. Officers obtained a search warrant and searched the trailer. During the search officers found illegal narcotics and a handgun.
In addition to the warrant for Theft of Property over $10,000.00, Dominguez will be charged with Resisting Arrest, Felon in Possession of a Hand Gun, and Possession of Methamphetamine. This is an ongoing investigation.
