Tennessee Industrial Printing, Inc. (TIPS) is honored to showcase the photographs of Larry Atherton and his time in the Vietnam War. TIPS will also be giving away printed copies of the Declaration of Independence, pocketbook copies of the Constitution of the United States, and prints of their Eagle poster in honor of Independence Day.
Atherton, who was born and raised in Jackson, Tennessee, started his career as a photographer for the Jackson Sun before leaving for the Marine Corps. During his time in Vietnam, he was named combat photographer. Atherton took honest and inspiring photographs that capture the essence of the Vietnamese people and Marines there.
“Having Larry exhibit his photographs of Vietnam at TIPS is incredibly special. We are privileged to view the unique history and perspective of that time period,” said Wayne Chambers, owner of Tennessee Industrial Printing.
The exhibit will be held in the TIPS lobby, Friday, June 30, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. – during regular business hours. As people view the exhibit, they will also be able to receive free printed copies of the Declaration of Independence, pocketbook copies of the Constitution of the United States, and printed copies of the our Eagle poster.
Tennessee Industrial Printing was founded in 1972 by three local entrepreneurs.
