DAVID ROHM SENTENCED TO 87 MONTHS
FOR RECEIPT OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY
Memphis, TN – David Arthur Rohm, 65, of Jackson, TN, was sentenced yesterday to 87 months
in federal prison following his guilty plea to one count of receipt of child pornography,
announced U.S. Attorney Edward L. Stanton III.
According to facts alleged in the indictment and revealed during the sentencing hearing, Rohm
knowingly received DVDs which contained visual depictions of minor boys engaged in sexually
explicit conduct.
In addition to the prison sentence, United States District Judge S. Thomas Anderson ordered
Rohm to serve 10 years of supervised release and to forfeit all computers and media containing
alleged child pornography. There is no parole in the federal prison system.
This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney Debra
Ireland represented the government.
