JACKSON, Tenn — Jackson police arrested a man after they say he allegedly got a teenage girl pregnant.  25-year-old Dylan Blankenship was in Jackson City Court on Wednesday facing a charge of Statutory Rape.

Blankenship’s attorney entered a not guilty plea on behalf Blankenship

According to an affidavit, the 17-year-old victim told investigators she had sex with Blankenship at his Thomas Cove home in North Jackson,

The girl told officers she was 16 at the time and Blankenship was 24, according to the affidavit.

Blankenship is currently free on $5,000 bond. The judge ordered he have no contact with the alleged victim.

Blankenship is scheduled to return to court Oct. 23.
