A Jackson man was indicted today by the Madison County Grand Jury for having a sexual relationship with a then 14-year-old girl.
25-year-old Efren Galindo,is scheduled to be arraigned next Monday in Madison County Circuit Court on a charge of statutory rape.
In April, police learned that Galindo and the girl had been in a relationship since January. According to investigators, the two had sexual
contact at his residence on Century Street in Rolling Acres Mobile Estates.
Investigators also learned that the girl was pregnant by Galindo.
Galindo remains in custody art the Madison County Jail on $15,000 bond
