The Jackson Fire Department with assistance from the Jackson Police Department, responded to a fire in a dumpster at Hamilton Hills Shopping Center, which is at the northeast corner of the U.S. Highway 45 Bypass and Old Hickory Boulevard.

The location of the fire was directly behind Burger King.

An alley entrance to the back of businesses at Hamilton Hills was blocked to traffic.
