The Jackson Energy Authority’s Board of Directors approved six resolutions during its month meeting at the Tenergy Building, Thursday.
The Board approved the installation of a 161kV Breaker for the Oakfield Primary Substation when members authorized a contract with Davis H. Elliot of Lexington, Kentucky, based on their low bid of $71,285.
A contract with the Memphis Road Boring Company, Inc., for the construction of new water line crossings, based upon their low bid of $1,086,070.90
The Board approved the purchase of two submersible pumps for JEA’s Middle Fork Wastewater Treatment facility by Gulf States Engineering Company, based on their evaluated RFP of $55,469.
The Board adopted and approved adjustments in the Telecom General Services G-1 and G-2 rates effective, March 1.
The Board adopted and approved adjustments in the Telecom Residential R-1 rates effective March 1.
The Board also authorized an agreement with Upchurch Mechanical of Jackson, to install an additional air conditioning unit and ductwork in the Telecommunications Division headend facility for a price not to exceed $280,866.
