The Jackson Energy Authority Board of Directors passed three resolutions during its final meeting of 2019 at the Tennergy Center, Thursday.
Board members approved –
- The purchase of additional materials and bore of a portion of South Highland Avenue for a raw water main project.
G&C Supply Company Inc., from Atwood submitted a low bid of $9,860 for the materials, and Miller Contractors Inc., from Jackson submitted a bid of $27,000 to bore a portion of South Highland Avenue.
Miller Contractors Inc., and Jackson Boring and Trenching submitted the same bid.
The winner was selected by a drawing.
- The purchase of 16-inch ductile iron pipe for the Airport Tank project.
G&C Supply Company, Inc., of Atwood, submitted a low bid of $215,876.
- The authorization of a contract for building renovations at 119 East College Street.
Allison Contracting Company, Jackson, submitted a low bid – not to exceed $3,639,619.
