The 2023 City of Jackson, TN Christmas Parade begins at 6:30 p.m., today, December 4, 2023.

The theme for this year’s event that will be held in downtown Jackson is “A Season of Giving.”

The lighting of the Christmas tree will be held prior to the start of the parade at 5:15 p.m. in front of Jackson City Hall, 101 E. Main Street.

The parade will be broadcast live on EPlusTV – Channel 6 and 206HD – and online at eplustv6.com.

In accordance with this year’s theme, the community is encouraging to drop off canned food and non-perishable items at City Hall, Westwood Community Center (3 Westwood Gardens Drive), T. R. White Sportsplex (304 N. Hays Avenue).

The grand marshal for this year’s parade will be United Way President Matthew Marshall.

He was formerly Executive Director and Head of School at Hands Up! Preschool, a non-profit Early Childhood Education program in Jackson, TN.

He spent eight years in Higher Education at his alma mater, Union University.
