JACKSON, TENNESSEE – Jackson Christian School, a private, Christian-based college preparatory school located in Jackson, Tenn., is proud to announce the graduation of the class of 2023 on Sunday afternoon, May 14, in Escue Gymnasium.
According to a press release from Janet Wylie – Jackson Christian School’s director of marketing & public relations, the class consists of 67 graduates who collectively received over $3 million in collegiate scholarships.
The Jackson Christian Class of 2023 plan to attend 23 colleges and universities across the nation and boast two national merit scholars. The National Merit Scholarship Corporation named Jackson Christian graduate Jude Taylor as a commended scholar (students who score in the top three to four percent), and Class of 2023 Valedictorian Emma Gaskill as a semifinalist (students who score in the top one percent).
“We are tremendously proud of the Class of 2023,” said Mark Benton, Jackson Christian School president, “These students have grown academically, physically, and spiritually, and it’s been a joy for us to be a small part of building their foundation for a Christ-centered life.”
