The Jackson Beer Board approved one special occasion permit and one business permit during its monthly meeting at Jackson City Hall, Tuesday.

Cassidy Sheppard Spencer – The STAR Center – was approved for a special occasion permit on October 29, for an event known as ‘Dancing with the STARs,’ for selling, storing and serving at The Jackson Fairgrounds.

Gregory L. Smith, representing Murphy Oil USA, Inc., No. 7842, located at 2159 South Highland Ave., was approved for a business permit to sell and store beer on the premises where sold.

Allison DeMarcus was approved for a Special Occasion permit on June 21-24, for an event known as The Miss Volunteer America Pageant, to sell, store and serve on the premises at the Carl Perkins Civic Center.
