The Jackson Beer Board – Johnny Dodd, Russ McKelvey and Gary Pickens – approved one business request for a permit during their monthly meeting at City Hall, Tuesday.
Pyros Fire Fresh Pizza, 1150 Vann Drive, was approved for a permit to sell, store and serve beer for consumption on the premises where sold.
The 2,745 square foot facility is the former home of PizzaRev, which closed in January, 2020.
Business hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.
The restaurant is the fifth for the company in Tennessee – its first outside of Memphis.
Pyros Fire Fresh Pizza has four restaurants in Memphis; one in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and three in Mississippi – Olive Branch, Tupelo and Hattiesburg.
