The Jackson Arts Council, 314 E. Main St., 38301, has opened applications for JAC Grant funding for arts projects in Madison County.
Eligible applicants may apply now through April 29.
JAC Grants provide funds for a variety of quality arts projects. Funds awarded to a single organization in this category range from $500 to $5,000. The program is funded by the City of Jackson and the generous contributors to the Jackson Arts Council.
Applications must contain a clear, single-project focus. These grant funds must be matched dollar-for-dollar. Only one grant application may be submitted per applicant. The Jackson Arts Council distributes the funds through a formal grant procedure, with arts groups completing the application by a designated time, and an independent panel reviewing and ranking the arts projects for funding.
