At 9:33 a.m., the Jackson Police Department was alerted to a bomb threat at North Side High School.

The bomb threat was similar to the one reported last week.

Due to the nature of the threats, JPD takes every precaution available to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students and faculty.

JPD, JFD, Madison County Sheriff’s Office, are on the scene, performing a methodical search of the campus and all facilities.

At this time, no devices have been located.
