Introducing the International Food and Art Festival Oct 4 PHOTO GALLERY

The commission was charged with finding ways to bring different people together and to highlight the diversity of the population.

International committee chair board members include Dr Sandra Dee, Eduardo Morales, and James Theus along with Season of Unity chairman Zain Hakim.  Flanked by a field of flags provided by the International Rotary Club, Dee recognized partnerships and thanked the sponsors.  Events of the festival include food vendors and merchandise booths, and three stages with a full day of activities.  Along with other activities there will be artists reflecting the different cultures of the area. A Praise in the Park including sister congregations from the community.

The festival was created to promote cultural exchange and understanding of the diversity in Jackson.
