The setting was different, but the mission was the same when the Jackson International Food and Art Festival was held at the Jackson Fairgrounds, Saturday.
With a mission to spread cultural awareness, promote cross-cultural engagement, the event celebrated the diverse backgrounds of residents throughout West Tennessee, with a goal of reminding the community that despite differences in appearance, how we worship, or where we come from, there is far more that unites us than divides us.
More than 50 countries were represented in the city’s melting pot of cultures.
