Hyatt Place – Ronald McDonald House – will be constructed on the corner of West Forest Avenue and Lambuth Boulevard, which will benefit the children at Ayers Children’s Medical Center.
It will provide housing for children’s families, a place for long-term cancer/hospice families to stay as well as families of long-term heart patients.
The number of floors and square feet in the facility are not available.
At present, The Foundation places families in homes around Midtown Jackson when they are in the community to be with their loved ones who live more than 50 miles away.
This facility will located next to a large rehabilitation facility where patients may stay for more extended periods and across the street from a skilled nursing facility.
The Kirkland Cancer Center and Jackson-Madison County General Hospital is one block away.
