Car thieves tend to steer clear of highly-visible areas, especially if there are security cameras or nosy neighbors around.

This is especially important at night between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. Since most people are asleep, that’s the most common time for car break-ins. Remember to remove all valuables including firearms.

Security measures burglars don’t like.

Alarm Systems. Burglars hate alarm systems – and for very good reason!
Security cameras. CCTV cameras can also deter burglars from attempting to enter your home.
Barking dog.
Heavily lit areas (have a bright motion sensitive security light directly on you car)
Social media oversharing (share your Ring doorbell footage to social media)
