Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day has been announced for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 27
112 Union Ave., behind the Farmer’s Market in Jackson.
From pesticides to paint thinner, from old computers to oil-based paint, many things around our homes will harm the environment if thrown in the regular trash.
Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day gives Jackson residents a free way to get rid of these items so they don’t get in the landfill or stormwater system.
