Coaches quote: “We’re in summer workouts right now,” Darby Palmer, Jackson Christian head football coach said. “The kids are working hard, and this year we have a lot of good vibes in the locker room.

“We’ve put a lot of emphasis on culture – creating that championship mindset – and we feel it is paying dividends right now … how we love, work and compete daily.

“We’re very excited about (artificial) turf being put in right now, we feel like it’s going to be big for our school and all of Jackson community with the different events we can host on it.

“We’re excited about it, and it should be finished the first couple of weeks of August.”

Jackson Christian is installing artificial turf on the newly named Southern Capital Field at Ronnie Fowler Stadium.
