Blue Coast Burrito has opened at 1430 Union University Drive, next door to Patriot Equity Credit Union.

Robert A. Speck, president/CEO of Blue Coast Burrito Inc., said the Jackson location was ideal for the product brand – considering corporate offices are located in Nashville.

“We can help in the operations and keep a hand in this,” Speck said. “This is good for the brand getting into Jackson, plus (owners) Bryan and Lorri (Blattler) own the restaurant in Florence, Alabama.”

Bryan Blattler and wife Lorri are residents of Henderson.

“We are really excited to be here in Jackson,” Lorri said. “We are a down the line Baja, California, style Mexican food restaurant. Everything is made fresh here, a lot of flavor.”

A few menu items include tacos, nachos, taco salad, quesadillas, grilled chicken, grilled steak – and burritos.

Restaurant hours are 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.
