JACKSON, Tenn. – The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department will begin giving Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine booster doses to children ages 5 to 11 on Friday, May 27.
Children ages 5 to 11 are now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine booster shot 5 months after completing their primary series. The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department offers Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine to children in this age group on Fridays only.
Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
Children may receive a COVID-19 vaccine and other vaccines at the same time.
