The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department has received positive test results for 1,156 more cases of COVID-19 since Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022.
We now have 22,782 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County – 18,804 have recovered.
Our Epidemiology staff is reaching out to these individuals.
These numbers do not reflect a backlog of positive Madison County cases. Our office is working seven days a week to get caught up and get labs imported into our database. New infections take priority.
We will continue to report confirmed cases as our epidemiology staff verify positive cases are Madison County residents.
