The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms a 69-year-old male died Feb. 16 due to complications from COVID-19. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 182 in Madison County – 10,150 have recovered.
The health department received positive test results for 7 more cases of COVID-19. We now have 10,789 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.
The newest confirmed cases range from ages 2 to 60.
Our Epidemiology staff is reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
Four Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. One of those patients is on a ventilator.
