The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms three additional COVID-19 deaths, bringing the total to 188 in Madison County. The newest deaths include:
- 78-year-old female (died 11/8/2020)
- 93-year-old female (died 1/23/2021)
- 77-year-old female (died 3/2/2021)
The health department received positive test results for five more cases of COVID-19. We now have 10,917 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County – 10,401 have recovered.
The newest confirmed cases range from ages 1 to 74.
Epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
Five Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. Two of those patients are on a ventilator.
