The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms three additional COVID-19 deaths.
This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 253 in Madison County. The newest deaths include:
• 54-year-old male (died 8/22/21)
• 74-year-old male (died 8/17/21)
• 84-year-old female (died 8/17/21)
The health department has received positive test results for 371 more cases of COVID-19
since Aug. 24, 2021.
We now have 14,730 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County – 12,355 have recovered.
Our Epidemiology staff is reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact
with these cases.
