The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms three additional COVID-19 deaths. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 129 in Madison County.
The newest deaths include:
- 81-year-old female (died 12/19/2020)
- 84-year-old female (died 12/18/2020)
- 54-year-old male (died 12/18/2020)
The health department received positive test results for 70 more cases of COVID-19. We now have 7,715 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County – 5,920 have recovered.
The newest confirmed cases range from ages 9 months to 79.
Our Epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
