The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms two additional COVID-19 deaths. This brings the total to 181 in Madison County. The newest deaths include:
- 70-year-old female (died 1/23/2021)
- 93-year-old male (died 1/30/2021)
The health department received positive test results for 11 more cases of COVID-19. We now have 10,747 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County – 10,049 have recovered.
The newest confirmed cases range from ages 3 to 77.
Our Epidemiology staff is reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
Seven Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. Three of those patients are on a ventilator.
