The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms a 66-year-old male died Nov. 25 and a 68-year-old female died Nov. 25 due to complications from COVID-19. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 103 in Madison County.

The health department received positive test results for 71 more cases of COVID-19. We now have 5,560 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County – 4,413 have recovered.

The newest confirmed cases range from ages 7 months to 86.

Our Epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Fifteen Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. Two of those patients are on a ventilator.
