The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for 46 more cases of COVID-19. We now have 1,455 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison county.
The newest confirmed cases include 19 inmates total from the Madison County Penal Farm and Madison County Jail Annex. The newest confirmed cases include 30 males, 16 females, and range from ages 1 to 86.
Our Epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
Sixteen Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. One of those patients is on a ventilator.
Nine hundred sixty Madison County residents have recovered from COVID-19, and 70 people say they are feeling better.
