The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms two additional COVID-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 287 in Madison County. The newest deaths include:
- 86-year-old male (died 9/22/21)
- 92-year-old male (died 9/23/21)
The health department has received positive test results for 130 more cases of COVID-19 since Friday, Sept. 24, 2021. We now have 17,619 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County – 16,228 have recovered.
Our Epidemiology staff is reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
