The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms a 73-year-old female died Apr. 10 due to complications from COVID-19. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 236 in Madison County.
The health department has received positive test results for four more cases of COVID-19 since June 23, 2021. We now have 11,558 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County – 11,296 have recovered.
Our Epidemiology staff is reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
