Jackson, TN – Habitat for Humanity proudly celebrated the completion and dedication of its 108th home, presenting the keys to a joyous Victoria Keys and her family. The new home signifies a fresh start for the Keys family and a new chapter in Habitat for Humanity’s enduring legacy of community support and transformation.
The heartwarming dedication ceremony highlighted the collaborative efforts that made this dream possible. Attendees included partners, donors, volunteers, community members, board members, and Habitat for Humanity staff, all gathered to welcome the Keys family to their new home. In her inaugural speech, CEO Renee Jones expressed her heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved. “This home build and dedication is a testament to what we can achieve when we come together as a community. It embodies hope, resilience, and the spirit of giving. We are immensely grateful to our partners, donors, volunteers, and the unwavering support of our board members, staff, and city and county officials who worked tirelessly to make this dream a reality for the Keys family.”
Victoria Keys, overwhelmed with emotion, shared her gratitude and excitement for this new beginning. “This home is more than just a place to live; it’s a fresh start, a safe haven, and a dream come true for my family. I enjoyed putting in the ‘sweat equity’ hours to help paint the home, pick out appliances, and help to paint others’ homes. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, and everyone who contributed to this incredible homeownership opportunity.”
The event concluded with a warm welcome from the community, as neighbors and friends came together to celebrate this joyous occasion. The Keys family was showered with love and support, embodying the true spirit of community and togetherness.
