Governor Bill Lee will be the guest speaker when the annual Reagan Day Dinner is held at the Carl Grant Events Center at Union University, Friday.
“He was in Jackson a lot during the early part of the campaign, and Madison County generated a lot of support for him,” said Gary Deaton, a Jackson businessman.
Lee, a Republican businessman from Franklin, became the 50th Governor in Tennessee history after winning the Nov. 6, 2018 midterm election.
Lee outdistanced Karl Dean, a Democrat and former Nashville mayor, 1,336,106 votes to 864,863.
Doors for the Reagan Day Dinner open at 5:30 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6 p.m.
