Gov. Bill Lee headlines Reagan Day Dinner in Jackson, Friday

Governor Bill Lee will be the guest speaker when the annual Reagan Day Dinner is held at the Carl Grant Events Center at Union University, Friday.

“He was in Jackson a lot during the early part of the campaign, and Madison County generated a lot of support for him,” said Gary Deaton, a Jackson businessman.

Lee, a Republican businessman from Franklin, became the 50th Governor in Tennessee history after winning the Nov. 6, 2018 midterm election.

Lee outdistanced Karl Dean, a Democrat and former Nashville mayor, 1,336,106 votes to 864,863.

Doors for the Reagan Day Dinner open at 5:30 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6 p.m.

You can purchase tickets online at mcrptn.com, or from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Deaton’s Carpet One, through Thursday.

Silver tables are $400, Gold, $600, Platinum, $1,000 or $50 for an individual ticket.
