JACKSON Tenn (June 17, 2015) – A man charged with pointing a shotgun at his girlfriend was before a judge in Jackson City Court.
The victim, Jessie Rodgers’ girlfriend told police that Rodgers pointed a shotgun at her face because she told him she wanted to end the relationship, according to an affidavit.
Officers say the victim statement was that Rodgers held a shotgun to her head and asked her if she still wanted to leave him.
According to the affidavit, the victim states that after begging Rodgers to stop, he turned the gun around and threatened to hit her with the stock,
Rodgers is charged with aggravated domestic assault. He is being held In Madison County Jail in lieu of a $40,000 bond.
