A resident of Gibson County, tested for coronavirus at Physicians Quality Care, 2075 Pleasant Plains Extension, has tested positive in Madison County.
“Where the patient lives determines where the positive is,” said Mallory Cooke – Public Information Officer, Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department.
Cooke said county case numbers are measured where the patient is from – not where the patient is diagnosed.
