Jackson, Tenn. – Tyler Pierce, 28, who was wanted by the Gibson County Sheriff’s Department was captured on the night of December 3 by U.S. Marshals and Hardeman County Sheriff’s Deputies, U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller announced today.
In the early morning hours of November 30, 2022, the Gibson County Sheriff’s Department responded to a residence in Trenton, TN. As a result of their investigation, they issued a warrant for Tyler Pierce’s arrest for First Degree Murder, Especially Aggravated Robbery, Possession of a Firearm during a
Dangerous Felony, and Tampering with Evidence.
Gibson County requested the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force in
Jackson to find and apprehend Pierce.
The fugitive investigation led to a residence in Hardeman County. Pierce fled into a wooded area and after an extensive search by the Marshals Task Force and the Hardeman County Sheriff’s Department, Pierce was taken into custody.
