The Jackson Generals and Biloxi Shuckers are all even at one game apiece in their best-of-five Southern League Championship Series.
The Generals used a four-run ninth inning to break a 2-2 tie in Game 2 for a 6-2 win, Wednesday.
Daulton Varsho (2-4), Pavin Smith (2-5) and Seth Beer (2-3) led a 10 hit attack for the Generals, and Kevin McCanna picked up the win for the Generals in relief.
Jackson and Biloxi resume play at 6:05 p.m., Friday at The Ballpark at Jackson.
Games 4 will be played Saturday, and Game and 5 will be held Sunday, if necessary.
