Following a 6-3 win over the Birmingham Barons at the Ballpark at Jackson, Saturday, the Jackson Generals packed their bags for a trip to Pearl, Mississippi, to begin a four-game series with the Braves, Sunday.

Taylor Clarke (8-4, 2.66 ERA) allowed two runs (one earned) and five hits, and registered six strikeouts in six innings of work to pick up the win.

Gabriel Moya lowered his earned run average to 0.93 while pitching the final 1.1 innings and earned his 15th save of the season.

Offensively, Stuart Ijames (2-for-4, 2 runs scored) hit his sixth home run of the season, a two-run shot in the eighth, and Kevin Cron and Kevin Medrano added two hits and one RBI each in the win.
