The Jackson Generals, the defending Southern League Champions, will play for their third title in four years after closing out the Montgomery Biscuits, 6-5, in the North Division Playoffs, Saturday in Montgomery.
The Generals, who won the Montgomery series 3-1, will play the winner of the Pensacola – Biloxi South Division Playoff.
Pavin Smith drilled a three-run home run and Ben DeLuzio led off the first inning with a solo shot.
Smith, Drew Ellis and Renae Hernandez contributed two hits each, and Emilio Vargas earned the win.
