West Tennessee Healthcare will host a neighborhood health fair today at Work Plus Rehab, at 343 Vann Drive. The event will be held from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. and is free to attend.
The health fair will offer a variety of adult screenings including: free health risk assessments, blood pressure, bone density, body mass index, vision screening, balance testing, grip testing, flexibility screening, glucose and cholesterol lab work. A four-hour fast is required for the glucose and cholesterol lab work.
Exhibits will include free information from: Ayers Children’s Medical Center; Lift Health — Lift Wellness — Lift Therapy; Lift Disease Management; Kirkland Cancer Center; Senior Services; West Tennessee Heart and Vascular Center; West Tennessee Women’s Center; West Tennessee Neuroscience and Spine; Medical Center EMS; Employer Services; West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation; Community Anti-Drug Coalition; Metro Narcotics Drug Take Back; and Work Plus Rehab.
A Spanish interpreter will be on hand to assist visitors at the health fair.
