West Tennessee Media Group and Grace Media Group are pleased to announce a format change in the coming weeks on WTJS 93.1 FM.
According to president/CEO Lacy Ennis, WTJS has broadcast Contemporary Christian music for the last 3 years, however, with the ever-changing climate in world politics, it was felt there was an urgent need for a Conservative News Talk station – which would reach all counties in West Tennessee.
“The new station will be called SUPER TALK of West Tennessee WTJS 93.1.” Ennis said. “Jackson’s No. 1 NEWS/TALK station WNWS 101.5 FM will remain focused on local news, sports, business and weather in Jackson and the surrounding area.
“We are also pleased to have reached an agreement with Jackson businessman and longtime radio personality Frankie Lax to anchor a strong local lineup of hosts – as well as nationally recognizable hosts.
“More details coming soon!”
