From the Jackson Police Department –

The City of Jackson, TN – Police Department is investigating a series of auto thefts and auto burglaries that occurred in the North areas of the city over night on September 26th, 2022.

During these auto burglaries, the suspect stole firearms and body armor from unlocked vehicles. The suspects were seen on camera pointing firearms at the victim’s house as they committed the auto burglaries. The image below was retrieved from a security camera.

Please use caution if you suspect that someone is breaking into a vehicle outside of your residence.

JPD needs the community’s help keeping hand guns out of the hands of criminals. Please lock your vehicles, secure firearms in your home in a lock box or a safe. Do not leave unattended firearms unsecured in your vehicle.
