In addressing latest developments regarding Coronavirus Disease 2019, Freed-Hardeman University President David Shannon shared the following announcement Friday morning, March 13, 2020:
“While we know of no COVID-19 cases among our students, faculty or staff, we realize our immense responsibility to the Freed-Hardeman family and the communities we call home. We are grateful for the work of a campus-wide response team, along with the cabinet, and the dedication of FHU faculty and staff to help students achieve their educational goals with as little interruption as possible. FHU will take a two-week spring break from March 21 through April 5 and will begin serving students primarily online April 6. As we pray for everyone’s health and peace, we look forward to welcoming students back to campus when it is prudent.”
