Expect some traffic delays as Roundabout construction picks up

Work continues on a new Roundabout, which is under construction on North Highland Avenue, between East and West Deaderick Streets.

“The projected outlook for completion is October,” said Jerry Gist, mayor of Jackson. “The work on the Roundabout itself has not started, but when it does, you can expect some traffic delays.”

The contract to build the roundabout was awarded to Ford Construction Company at a cost of $1,793,899.54.
