Lumberjack Games and Atlatl Competition

Come out and join Chickasaw State Park for our annual Frontier Day’s Lumberjack Competition! During this competition you will get to maneuver and cut through different objects while being timed. Whoever has the fastest time will win a free gift at the Chickasaw gift shop! Contestants must be 16 years or older to join. They suggest wearing appropriate closed toed footwear!
Additionally, Atlatl Throwing will be occurring at the recreational field near the horse stables. They will be throwing atlatl spears at the practice targets from 2:00 – 2:30 pm.
