If estimates are correct, it will take $250,000 to repair a sinkhole at Oman Arena.

Paul Taylor, a Jackson City Councilman, who serves as the chairman of the Budget Committee, said the first step calls for an analysis of the storm water system.

“We’ll assess the problem, and spend wisely,” Taylor said, “This is a long-term solution.”
