Consideration of a resolution to implement eminent domain action to acquire property for McClellan Road improvements will be on the agenda when the Jackson City Council meets at City Hall, at 9 a.m., Tuesday.

The property in question is near a bridge that will be widened from three- to 15-feet.

The length of the widening will be about 1,400 feet.

Five property owners have been offered fair market value for their property, but only two have agreed to the terms.

No dollar amount has been discussed publicly, but each land owner will be paid.

A bidding process for the work follow after the property has been acquired.
