Area educators are on the ballot for the 10th annual Sonic Drive-In ‘Limeades for Learning,’ fall campaign in support of public school teachers.

Sonic is donating $1 million to classrooms across the country – and in partnership with DonorsChoose.org – Sonic fans can vote daily through Oct. 28, for the teachers they want to support.

“Limeades for Learning is an initiative by Sonic to promote education and help teachers fund their class projects,” said Jeremy Chandler, marketing director for Sonic in Jackson, “The teachers need all the help they can get to purchase supplies and materials for their class.”

Jackson-Madison County teachers who have class projects submitted are –

Sherry Crowe, Isaac Lane Technology Magnet Elementary School
Amanda Climer, Nova Early Learning Center
Si’Yan Lumas, Nova Early Learning Center
Starla Scott, Thelma Barker Elementary
Sandra Spencer, Thelma Barker Elementary

To participate, visit LimeadesForLearning.com, and vote daily on specific teacher projects after signing up with a valid email address.

Visit a Sonic Drive-In to get a bag sticker code worth two votes.

Vote 10 times to receive two extra votes via email.

Share on social media to earn two additional votes.

Since 2009, Sonic has donated $10.4 million for Limeades For Learning, which has impacted the lives of more than 600,000 students while donating to over 20,000 classrooms.

In addition to the $1 million for fall voting, Sonic also makes large-scale donations throughout the year.
