The Jackson Police Department responded to a shooting in the vicinity of Preston Street and Allen Street at Allenton Heights earlier today.
Reports are three people received non-life-threatening injuries during the shooting.
Two people were shot in the arm – one when a shell went through an apartment at Allenton Heights – and a third person was shot in the chest.
The shootings are believed to be drug related.
